K.C. Joseph is a screenwriter, author and filmmaker from Los Angeles, California who currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.  His current genres of choice are Urban Fiction, Urban-Erotica and Suspense Thrillers.  Growing up in Inglewood California, Joseph had an extremely diverse upbringing.  He lived in a Blood gang dominated neighborhood but rode the 210 bus on Crenshaw all the way to Venice Blvd daily to Loyola Jesuit College Preparatory High School.  It was at this oasis in the hood that he first experienced the wealth and power of the Catholic Church.  It was also here that he learned what DuBois called the “ways of white folks”. Embraced by the minority black presence and befriended by the Malibu surfer cats and the Hancock Park richies, Joseph’s questioning of the human condition began.  His outlet became the arts and theatre throughout both high school and college. After graduating from Cal Berekely in 1992 with a degree in African-American Studies, Joseph realized he was still looking for the answers to the questions that haunted him.  Thus began his 12-year period of self-discovery that led him to pursue the priesthood of an African religious organization based in New York.

His journey led him to storytelling and the sharing of lessons that others either might not deem worthy or are just plain afraid to tell.  He shares in an honest voice the stories of those that can’t always speak for themselves and crafts stories in a way that invites his readers and viewers deeper while honoring the voice of the people for whom he speaks.  During this evolutionary process, Joseph began bestowing his artistic craft upon the world in 2006. He is author of two books and two screenplays. His first novel: Sinderella: Tales of a Southside Stripper is the first in a series of street burners about life in the gritty billion dollar Atlanta strip club industry. The book follows the life of LaShonda Booker, aka Sinderella and her home-girl Faithful as they go hard from the strip clubs and after-hours clubs in Atlanta to the wild sex parties of San Francisco.

Joseph also wrote the screenplays: The Good Reverend, and King of Clubs. K.C.'s latest screenplay, Stripped is a black horror film about four brothas who throw a pool-party with some of the hottest strippers in Atlanta. But the party turns ugly and ends up in a bloodbath! He is currently in the early stages of pre-production on the film.
